Charitize: Establishing a brand guide with tone and voice

Charitize is a marketplace web app where users can buy and sell services with all proceeds going to the charity of their choice.
In addition to leading a product design team to help the founders develop their first MVP (See: Charitize — Marketplace Web App), I developed their first brand guide.
Coming into the project, Charitize essentially had nothing: no colors, logo, typeface, etc. So, I had the pleasure of brainstorming from a blank slate, and it was a lot of fun bouncing around ideas with the rest of the team. User research was helpful for consolidating ideas around what Charitize could represent, and I made sure to validate the approach and messaging with the founders along the way. In the end, I pulled together a full branding guide that drove the final hi-fi tests and overall product design.
